I am not pleased with the way the 2013 Ford Focus accessory/option bundles are being handled so I'm trying to find a very difficult to find model in my area (Chicagoland.)

    2012 Ford Focus SE
    5 door hatchback
    Manual transmission

Equipment Group 201A (required to get the sport pack)
Sport Package (includes 16" alloy wheels / rear discs / sport seats)
Interior color - no option because of the seats

Exterior color: Okay, here is where I get to become someones wet dream. I am looking to take any of the following colors: Ingot Silver, Red Candy, Sonic Blue, Blue Candy, Oxford White, or Sterling Gray.

The only other option I am looking for is the interior protection package, that's it. If it doesn't have it then fine but I want nothing else. No pin striping / dealer stickers please.

Thank me later. There is a hard to find consumer vehicle locater problably linked off the National Ford Website. It will be your specific regional site. Go to the main ford webpage, www.ford.com and put in your zip code, or google the regional site. You should be able to see window stickers of any new untitled ford at any dealer in that region. I know they at least have this in the south east. southernforddealers.com or something. Good luck searching.

I found this on the website, thanks. I couldn't find the specific model I am looking for - it's truly a pain in the ass to use and should be much easier than it is. I trust the dealers have a better "hidden" inventory system. The main problem I have is it only lets you search 5-6 dealers at a time based on your zip code. It would be great if I could search an entire region.

I put in a request at the local dealer to see if I can even find this. My particular gripe with the '13s is how they killed the sport pack which was a smoking good deal and threw it into a larger option package with crap I don't want.

I'm looking for the same car. Finding sport pack and 201a is the hardest part. Most cars with the sport pack will have 203a. I too am pissed about the 2013 models. They pulled a VW. Cheap first year price, more the next year. Just sell me the effing car at what profit you want. and why are hatchbacks more than sedans?

Pissed off as well, when looking at the ST configuarator. No options, just packages. They make it look like there are options, but choosing anything forces you into a more expensive package. The only 2 things that don't require package changes are a block heater and a sunroof. It makes things like HIDs a $4500 option because you have to get everything under the sun with it.

Suggestion: Jump on FocalJet and see if you can find a Ford salesman there with a locator at his fingertips.

Or simply go into the dealer and talk to the internet sales manager. Tell him what you are looking for, and have him show you what's in the area.

Yeah, it's frustrating. I'll probably be getting a plain ST and doing an HID KIT, the right way, no HID bulbs in reflector housings. And buying some sort of aftermarket seat solution. The wife wasn't too keen on the stock recaro's in terms of looks.

Get the ST already, then tell us all about it. I had a little seat time in a 2013 ST and I was pretty well impressed.

Fords are orderable. Why not just order the exact configuration you want?

The interior protection package can be purchased at the parts counter later if the car does not have it.
