    Tense!

    I've read an interesting interview with some insights into Season 7. It's somewhat spoilerish, so I won't dig up the link, but I'm definitely looking forward to this season and the 8th/final one as well.

    Love Dexter, should be an interesting turn and see where this goes....

    In for this too!! Cant wait. So... do they pick up with that scene... or do the writers pick up at some future point in time and go from there? I think they did that once before and it pissed me off.

    The embedded video above starts right where S6 left off, though it is possible that the first moments of the episode may be something else, and then it will flash back.

    6 day countdown. Let's face it, what else on TV do I have to look forward to every week right now? For the next three months, even a 'bad' season of Dexter would be some of the best TV on.

    Boardwalk Empire is pretty awesome. If you're looking for something else to watch. ...but yes, I really love this show... did they get renewed for this season and one more? Or is this the last one?

    Oh I enjoy Boardwalk, but Dexter's still easily Top 5 even with a season like last year.

    Dexter was renewed for this season and one more, which is supposed to be the last. From the interview I linked above:

    "Since the show has been renewed for two more seasons, is this definitely the end?
    Colleton: This was definite. We wanted to end it this year, but the network convinced us that it would be best to do it in two years. In some ways, this is a two-season series-ender. We have worked that out and know where it's going to end. Next year will definitely be the last year of Dexter. Absolutely."

    Between the slide, having BS explanations for Deb, and for just keeping a case of slides in his A/C in general, Dexter's continuing his careless streak. Great ending though!

    It's satisfying that it was some detective work by Deb that caught Dex red-handed for what he truly is, rather than just the walking into the church at the right time.

    Agreed. I tried to avoid the spoilers and interviews and all of that leading up to this season, but from what I heard, people were saying things like "Now that Deb knows his secret." I was thinking, "She doesn't know his secret. She only knows he killed one very bad guy." If she was going to find out, I'm glad she mother-fing FOUND OUT. I was afraid they'd leave it with that self-defense bull and she'd only know about the one. I mean, as his sister, she would want to believe Dexter's coverup story. No one sits around thinking, "You know what would be really awesome? If my brother were a serial killer!"
