for me.. it's got to be the new Porsche Boxster. The styling is perfect, the performance is just about right, and not as pretentious as a normal Porsche. but wayyy too expensive for me, but perhaps in 8 or 10 years, when it's around $15K.

What's your "I'll wait til it gets cheaper" car?

Why wait? You can buy 02 Boxster S all day long for 13 grand. More car than most will ever need.

Sure the entry fee will be lower, but repair costs sure won't.

+1, but I'll be supercharging mine when I get it. My 335i works great but a supercharged M3 is a completely different animal.

997 C2S. Good ones are still over $50k for the most part. I'd hit it in the mid-high $30s.

Some mice M3s and TTRS choices, personally I would like a Godzilla in my garage. If the 280Z is worn out or something down the road.

Good luck with this. They were limited production and collectible from day one. I dont see these becoming "cheaper" anytime soon.

    For me:
    a) Defender Dual Cab. They are apparently made of gold. They are also gigantic pieces of unsafe, rattly shizz but if they ever got cheap enough, I would gut it, get rid of that stupid seat box, add some strength to the body and make it comfortable(ish) for anyone over 6 feet tall.

    b) The more desirable choice: HJ75 Cruiser. As the import age approaches, more might come in and the price might drop...maybe.

I too will be very happy when the 981 comes down in price. In the meantime, I'm saving my pennies for a 986.
