I'm beginning to grow tired of my MKIV 8 valves of fury. I'll post current pictures but a few from the last few months are at the bottom. I'm looking to trade it for a good condition 95+ GTI or Jetta VR6 5spd in decent condition with something ballpark at least less than 200k on the clock in good working condition plus cash on top to fill in the gap with my current KBB of $4k
as it stands it's a 2001 Jetta GL (AEG) with 122,xxx on the clock with the stock 5spd transmission.
It's on Raceland Ultimos for the last 5k, with stock GTI Ariettas and 12/20mm spacers with 215/45/17 Falken 512's all purchased within the last month and a half.
It also has a few little mods like Joey mod, euro switch, Bora taillights GTI 20'th AE steering wheel, shift knob (With "GTI" and "6'th" delete), all red dome lighting, swiss cheesed airbox with drop in K&N, TT short shifter, and a hybrid steel/aluminum Oil pan and a few other small things I can't remember.
the car would also come with a whole buttload of stock parts including an OEM Votex rack in great condition I literally just picked up.
The car has a whole lot of reciepts of work from the PO (purchased at 99k) and since then I've replaced the timing belt/water pump, front brakes did this week, rears at 105k, and regular oil/filter changes with Mobil 1 synthetic every 5-7k.
The only current problems with the car are the drivers side inner cv boot is ripped (no binding or clicking yet) but I am sitting on a repair kit for it, and the rear drivers door doesn't open as the door lock mechanism has failed.
hey do you have anymore photos of the car, or is possible to look at the car? I'm in berkeley oakland area. but i do go back to richmond/san pablo about 2 times a week. so maybe we can set something up.
