Some background, car has had an intermittent misfire, so this year I took out the ignition harness and replaced it with one that was not broken and repined it into the factory harness. So I put the car back together and scan it and noticed some new codes.

The car currently doesn't start (tracking down an issue with my fuel pumps not priming or coming on when the key is in the ON position.) Fuel Pump terminal 87f (connected to relay 409) has 12v when the door is opened, but quickly drops to 0 and does not return when the key is turned.

I also do not have spark to the coil packs, but have 12v at the hot wire, but the ignition wire on the coil reads .21 when trying to start.
    (seems low)

If its RED those are the codes I need some assistance with.

Seems like 16706 could cause no spark, so I wonder if I have the speed sensor incorrectly plugged into something else.

    Thank you.

What would concern me most is the P1604 for now. This may very easily be the culprit for your issues and since that code is not intermittent but rather static I would try and source a different ECM for testing purposes. It doesn't need to be fully compatible just to test for starting troubles, even with the immobilizer not matched you should see it crank and run - all the immobilizer will do is shut it off 1-2 seconds after it started.

P.S.: Please do not bump topics, it will not make people reply to you any fast and a topic with 0 replies in the forum overview will give you more clicks than one with 1 or more posts. Meaning, with a 0 replies topic we often feel more obligated to reply... Aside from that bumping topics may be considered rude by some, especially on weekends. Every understands that you're issues are more or less urgent but you're not being ignored intentionally.

Your in need of a firmware update which may correct the DTC and it may not.

You could send me your ecu to check out and if repair exceeds the cost of replacement, I can data transfer the immobilizer and get you a reman or new unit.

In stock please let me know.
    Vortex RT discount applies.

Please verify all fuses and try disconnecting the OXS sensors to see if this current track is shorted for the heaters causing an issue.

I have 3 other ECU's that I have in my garage, all are in working order.
Can a wiring short, or an incorrectly pinned wire cause this short? Could it be a data exchange fault and not a hardware issue (ie: able to be cleared vs:ecu being fried?)

More then likely but also could be a hardware issue or combination such as cause and effect from cause.
