It looks like a Dodge Dart's dash.

Here's the new Seat Leon dash, which is on the same platform as the golf 7. Seems like there are quite the comparable similarities between that CAD drawing and this photo

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

On the positive side the navigation screen grows instead of shrinking.

I do like how the center stack orients toward the driver. Reminds me a bit of the E36 that way.

x2. i like how both the e36 and e46 designed it this way. i don't love the newer BMW interiors, while they are rather nice visually, they seem to have lost that cockpit-curve. these are great driver's interiors:

    compared to the newer style:

that definitely looks like it would go in the new golf/gti. if it does, it's a really nice evolution of the current interior. i like the two-tier look that a lot of manufacturers seem to be moving to these days. i also like how the center stack is slightly oriented towards the driver. can't wait to see the final product.

That dash looks like it's made from soft touch plastic polymers.

It actually reminds me of the Optima dashboard, just with a more Audi-ish bottom half.

Volkswagen totally copied the Dodge Dart's interior.

Even the center console tilts toward the driver like the Dodge Dart's.

Looks like what a Civic dash should be.

The fact that the center console doesn't seem to connect down to the area where the shifter is, reminds me of the Audi A3 (MQB) dash.

Yes very similar, same platform, so the switches are placed the same, just like before

Yeah, but the integrated nav and vent design in the Golf leak looks more upscale.

The center vents look too low to be useful...

It was only a matter of time. The windows, doors, sunroofs, trunks, hatches, transmissions, radiators, and oilpans have been leaking for years. Surprised it took them this long to get a dash to leak.
