Ok, so a few days ago, unplugged ISV, no more climbing to 3k and embarrassing me, so drive home from work, unplug blue coolant temp. sensor, idles way better, so I adjust idle up a bit. Go inside for a bit proud of myself, thought I would plug ISV back in, and start it, climbs to 3k, so I plug coolant sensor back in, idles at 1k, unplug, fix. Go to drive, no power until 3k. Been trying to figure out what needs done for a while....(tried to get into as much detail as possible)

sounds like you have a vac leak or your idle isn't adjusted right. replace all vac lines. i keep my idle screw all the way tight or else it loosens up the iac valve will make up for the screw being tight. timing can also cause idle problems

Yeah, I made an appointment for next week to have every single vacuum line replaced...I just don't have the time anymore because of work. I was gonna start with that, then work my way up until it does get fixed. So, I'm hoping this will do it.

We'll see. If the leak isn't the issue, then blue coolant temp. sensor, and I guess I'll figure out what else could be the issue.

It will take you 15 to order all the correct parts from two places for the hoses and clamps. It will take you another 30 to 45 minutes to install 90% of the lines. Even if you don't have time bring the hoses and clamps to your mech.

With shipping to your door you'll be out $45 bucks for every clamps and hose to redo the car. They're all oe parts from Porsche and Continental.
THE G60 Vacuum Line Replacement Thread to start.

http://www.davebarton.com/AdjustableVoltage.html is another cheap way to fix your idle due to the cheap voltage reg used on the rebuilt Bosch Alternators.

If your Idle control valve ends up being dead, order here from Germany $69.30 shipped. The sellers in the States corner the market on these for $300-$480.
