    Moved over from fs thread...

Got a truck and the wife says something has to go.

It needs a good bit of work still. Pictures will explain.

    Engine:

Was going with motorcycle carbs because I fried the ecu when I didn't have my grounds sorted.
The manifold isn't built for the carbs but have the flange and pipe. They are cbr600 carbs.
New intank pump from an evo 8. (put in before I decided to go carbs)
I've heard motor run a handful of times, but it was on starting fluid.

    Suspension: SOLD
    Boge turbo gas all around
    G60 fk 60/40 springs
    Custom rear strut brace

    Wheels:
Mb motoring 16's need refinished and tires

    10.1's in front g54 calipers...SOLD
Drums in rear, but do have spindles to convert to rear discs.
Passenger side has new bearing ...SOLD

    Body:

    Brazil dual round headlights
Treated rust spots with por15 (and spots prone to rusting)
    Sparco gas cap .
    Rare fox trunk lip spoiler...SOLD
    Mk2 front air dam
    Needs painted.

    Interior:
    Stripped
Seats are from a Suzuki swift gti. Pretty deep bolsters, need brackets made.
    5 point harnesses
New ignition switch from auto zone ...

    Random:
Audi 5k single pass ic ... Fits nicely in behind grille
    G60 injectors

Car was initially going to be my autocross car, just ran out of time, got married, and wife is on me pretty hard about getting rid of my project... Kills me to do it...

    My zip is 26155

Is the cam for solid lifter or hydraulic? and do you know if the suspension from your 91 will work on a 90 fox?

Gold, huh? Well - they will end up getting painted - but if they are in good shape I'm interested - I don't need tires.

Yeah, surprisingly I got quite a few compliments on that gold setup...

The paint is pretty cracked up... I dunno if I want to ship the big stuff, it's a pain

Exhaust and suspension are pending... Cam is for hydraulic lifter head

  11. 07-20-2012 11:02 PM #11

Damn, I'd love to take that motor, but West Va might as well be on the moon. Maybe when the Sooners come to Morgantown in November they could toss it in the bus's luggage compartment on the trip back!

  21. 08-11-2012 02:05 PM #22
Yeah... You'd pay more in shipping than I would charge for the engine

  22. 08-12-2012 05:43 PM #23
Anything else? I remember tach clusters used to be an upgrade to the clock... Also have a catch can... Engine and trans are out

Funny. There's an older gent at my church that delivers cars as his 'retirement' job. He's actually in WV tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to ask him, but maybe I could get him to bring it back next time he's out in that direction.

Soooo, how much for the mill?

  24. 08-15-2012 02:56 PM #25
    300 with trans
    200 without

Reasonable enough, I'll touch base with my friend and
see if this is an option worth pursuing.

Is the 5 speed a PSA, I assume? Might be worth taking as a backup, I suppose.

  27. 08-16-2012 10:21 PM #28
Yep ...psa... Reverse worked but it had a click...probably change trans oil and be good to go

  28. 08-21-2012 09:19 PM #29
I realize that I have told a couple people on here I would get them shipping quotes. I apologize that it hasn't been as quick as you or I would like it to be. I am just getting back into the swing of school (I teach) so once I'm past these first few hectic weeks I can yank those parts and take them to the post office. Once again sorry for my tardiness

Posting from Lynx on UNIX, so can't see the pics. Are you saying $20 for all the door handles? Or apiece? Don't really care for those headlights, but do they go into the existing bucket/adjuster assembly? I could use a driver's side to replace my broken one. Anyway, I have to wait until after Sept. 1 to do *anything* right now - beginning of school is always tight.

My trunk in the coupe has started leaking, and as a result water got on the driver side bulb holder and fried it. Tail light has a broken screw insert as well.

SO, driver side tail light lense and bulb holder?

And, are all the clips on that dome light still attached?

  33. 08-24-2012 10:17 AM #34
I will try and get the proportioning valves off soon... care if I just cut the lines? unless someone wants lines...

yep 20 for all handles aka 5 dolla a handle

sorry but the taillights and bulb holders are gone ...you may be able to bug insanebuslady for them... he was going to attempt to put the newer style tails on his older fox

    paypal is littlesnides@hotmail.com

headlight buckets are different for the lights.... I think I still have the original headlights and buckets still though

pretty sure the tabs are still intact on my dome light ...will double check this weekend

Hmm, I'll PM you after I get paid on the 1st. Can never have too many handles, and I do need the bucket. Well, technically just the adjusters, but since they're riveted on...
