It's strange that it's so cheap looking and not really cool. 2001 was still the days of John Moss being in GM's skunk works, and most of his vehicles were bad a$$ including this Chevy extreme outfitted with a blown vette motor.

I absolutely love this car, but uhh frankly I find it quite ugly. Stunning, yes, but quite ugly.

i will say this these cars have a weird cult following, i have a friend who sold hers for $8,000, and said some of the rare colors go for as much as $12,000

Not even close. Miatas have a huge worldwide following, which is why they are still in production. All the people that really love Aztecs already bought them. And now they just trade hands amongst each other.
