Heading to Vegas in a few months for the first time. Going for a week (joining up with friends from UK)
    Any advice, where to go/avoid??

EDIT: oh yeah staying at MGM, and will probably gamble a little for a couple of the nights but definitely not all 7 nights!

Funny, I was just in Vegas for 5 days I didn't go gambling, but there's still stuff to do. You can spend almost 3/4 days on just exploring the hotels. If you are going for a show, DEFINITELY go so the "O" by Cirque Du Soleil, you won't regret it.

I stayed at the Venetian, and it was gorgeous.

What do you like to do? Are you a big party person? If so, I highly recommend the pool parties such as Marquis Day Club, or Tao Beach, Rehab, etc.

Yeah we'll definitely be hitting the clubs for the Thurs, Fri and Sat that we are out there.

Good to know there's lots to do outside of the casinos for the other days too We were also looking at the trips to grand canyon and hoover dam.

Anyone been to the shooting range out there?

    The Gun Store.

go early or the line up is like 3 hours long.

pool parties are a must, yes the pretenious parties like rehab etc etc are pretty dope, but you will be surprised, almost every pool on the strip is a blast during the summer even if its not one of the big name ones, but since your staying at MGM yes Rehab is a must.

going for my seventh time next week.

have a blast dude, vegas baby!

I went there instead, same kind of guns, less people, and supposedly better ventilated indoor range...

    Its near Circus Circus...

OP there is a Ferrari dealership inside the Wynn. I found it very hard to sleep knowing what was downstairs.

Be sure to visit Freemont - very different vibe from the strip - original Vegas.

Since you are not gambling that much you should have an extra $600-$700 for exotics racing, a few mins drive from the strip. I'm sure your buddies from over seas would love it too, unless they aren't car people...

The Search button is your friend.

    Quickly:

Earl Of Sandwich and Hash House a GoGo are great places to eat.

    Google "$20 sandwich trick"
It's all about squats and deads.
