VEGAS - Mt. Charleston, Summer Fun 8/5/12

So tonight few of us decided to actually do something this summer. Finally!!!... So the idea this time is something we've never done before.... Picnic and Outdoor games.
The plan is if you are coming bring food that is already cooked or doesn't need to be cooked and the most important thing is bring a game or something we can all play with. Everyone is welcome, bring your family, friends, friends of your friends, dogs, cats, whatever. It's a day to enjoy outdoor away from Vegas heat.
To make it more car fun also we are meeting at the Chevron Gas station at Ann Rd. Exit off 95N which is Point (A) and then we all cruse together to point (B) where the picnic and the play will take place.

Place of meet: Point (A) Chevron Gas Station Ann Rd. Exit off 95N Take a right if u r coming from 95S

Time of meet: 1:30pm - roll out at 2:00pm if u can't make the cruse just come later at point (B) if u like.

Final Destination: " No Not the movie" Point (B) Mt. Charleston but I don't know what the area actually is called there. I don't think there is a name. It's marked on your map the 2 red circles. It's an open area just a mile or two before the ski area. it will be on your right side. I am sure many of you know it. In the winter time is where all the kids run around and slide.

Parking: You can park on the left side of the road where usually has more space or park where is available.

About the food and the things you are bringing, just post up and we can start a list... Folding chairs, tables and/or picnic rugs are welcome to bring. There is NO picnic tables there.

Games: Well anything that can involve more then 2 people. Football, Tailgate Ladder and Bag Toss, Horseshoe, Frisbee, Federball whatever u like to play bring it.

Please pick up your trash before you leave. There is a dumpster across the road.

I'll have to wait until the schedule comes out for next month before I'll know if I can make it, but I'd like to go if I can.

I'll see if me and my brother can go at least to say hi, we are on vacation from Reno so I don't know if the family wants to go(my brother is driving his mk4 2005 gli and I'm driving my 2010 gti)
