So, this may sound like a stupid question, but what kind of issues should I be looking out for when driving a 2+ without a boost gauge? I have one on order, but that hasn't stopped me from installing the bits and running the car.

Boost leaks and overboost situations. You probably won't have any issue but the gauge is worth peace of mind. For me, the gauge install is a little more involved than I want to mess with so I'm waiting until everything is in before I take my car to a shop.

Got my Stage 2+ done this week and can say I'm pleased to live a little dangerously.

If I go ahead and install the regular PODI gauge with a white needle, how much of a pain would it be to swap out for the blue one when it arrives? I would be having my shop install the gauge initially and I would just do the switch myself when the blue one comes in.

Shouldn't be too hard, just have switch the gauge out from where it sits and plug the wires in identical to the way it was with the other gauge since functionally they are the same gauge.

I have the current podi gauge. It would take 1 or 2 minutes to swap the gauges.

Just got off the phone with PODI! They said that they should be receiving the last bits for the completed prototype in the next 1-2 weeks. Then they will be tested for perfect fit and match and assuming everything works out perfectly, they should be just a few more weeks after that when they can start getting them ready to go out. He told me to call back toward the end of the month for an exact ETA if we haven't heard from someone from PODI or CTS here on the forum by then. This is good news for us as we're getting pretty close to when we can get a specific date.

Thursday we had a sweet carbon steel grey Golf R roll in for a tuning consultation. What’s on the agenda? Eurodyne Maestro 7 stage 2 ECU upgrade, CTS Golf R intake kit, CTS Golf R downpipe, CTS Golf R direct fit FMIC kit and Autotech HPFP… Can you say wolf in sheep’s clothing?

      Very good point.

Driving our Golf R project cars around on moderate boost with the Garrett GT turbo is quite fun even compared to our full bolt on Golf R. Looks stock right? Not quite, it has our full Golf R turbo kit and we're running through a variety of turbos

The one thing that confuses the **** out of me is the same repetitive posts on almost every topic you guys have, while I look forward to seeing updates and all, sometimes it gets a bit confusing at what the topic is actually about.....

With that said and to go against what i just said, the intake seen on this car looks different, what are the details on that? Looks to be going below the headlight...

I got an email from Winston few days ago regarding the gauge and they were going to test fit
few different ones to find the perfect matching led.
Haven't seen any pictures or updates on the thread except cts marketing/advertising.
I appreciate the efford podi is putting in to the matching gauge but it is taking longer than I expected.
I will be waiting for mid August for fully completed gauge and hope it will be shipped by the end of
August otherwise I am going to request a refund. NS looks perfect considering how much less it costs.
