For sale is my 2008 Volkswagen GLI. I am the original owner and bought it new from North Scottsdale VW. Has been an amazing car for us, but a growing family necessitates a larger vehicle. Currently has 61,400 miles, but as it is my daily driver, the miles will increase slightly. The exterior is finished in metallic Deep Black and the interior is the Interlagos cloth. Engine is VW's venerable 2.0 liter direct-injected and turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Options on this vehicle include 18" wheels, moonroof, front & rear airbags and lip spoiler. I also added an aftermarket iPod adapter in the glove compartment. The car originally came with 18" Huffs but I have since upgraded to TSW Nurburgring wheels in the original factory size shod with a new set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. I do not have the original wheels. The car has been regularly maintained and I have all receipts for tire rotations, alignments, oil changes, etc... I had the new tires installed earlier this year and had an alignment performed at 60,000 miles. At 30,000 miles, the rear brakes were in need of replacement, so I replaced all rotors and pads with EBC sport slotted rotors and EBC Green Stuff pads. Aside from that, the car is completely stock.
I regularly handwash the car and it is clay-barred twice a year along with a buff and wax. Paint is shiny and free of dings, scratches or dents. Again, this is a daily driver, so there are little minute stone chips on the front bumper and hood, but nothing out of the ordinary. Interior is in near-mint shape with the only wear showing being from the driver's side floor mats. Other than that, there are absolutely no rips, tears or stains anywhere and I am a non-smoker. Wheels are perfect and have absolutely zero curb rash.
Also included in the sale are a few extra maintenance items. I have a few extra OEM VW oil filters, a special adapter that facilitates easier oil changes as well as a full set of EBC rotors and pads when your next brake job is needed...which shouldn't be for awhile. Edmunds.com books the car @ $14,847 and Kelley Blue Book values it at $15,569 so I figure I'd split the middle and ask $15,250 and will certainly entertain serious offers. If interested me, IM me and we can talk details.
