hey whats up, i just bought a 2006 2.5 jetta and the radio doesnt work
the radio interface is on and i can control all that fine but no sound comes out of the speakers. No static or anything. i checked the fuses in the engine bay and theyre good so im all out of ideas. any thoughts of what it could be?

Did it ever work?
Did you check the fuses with a multi-meter?
Have you verified that the harness was pluged in correctly?
Are the speakers in the doors?
Are they connected?

Thanks for the reply, i checked all those points and they were all good but the headunit was still a no go, so i bought a used oem headunit and it works perfectly now.

Gotta love those MK5 radios, have quite a few a week come in with the HU not producing signal. Tis tis tis.
