    The body is not toast just needs some work. I have seen some terrible piles around here that people waste the time to weld and patch back up...this is not one of them. Body is solid just has few spots that need help.

    And for people wondering. This car has potential. Finding a mk1 Jetta coupe with a clean interior is unheard of. The rest can be fixed. And I regularly get 55mpg + out of mine.

    Also have a 84 Jetta 1.6TD 140,000 original miles...got it all together today, just needs a water pump...offers???
