It's time for me to sell my 2008 R32 and move on to an M3. I bought it a little over a year ago from a gentleman in New York who bought it new in 2008. He was moving across the country to CA to begin his new job working for a major tech company and decided to keep his SUV instead of the R .

I saw it listed on another VW forum and flew out that weekend to pick it up. Although there were plenty of cars available locally, all of them seemed to have paintwork or have been in accidents. This was a clean, all original, one owner car so I jumped on a plane and picked it up.

The same is true today, although it's a 2-owner car at this point. No accidents, no paintwork, and no bodywork. It's a factory Navigation car and has not been modified in any way. Meticulously maintained, I have the full service history from the previous owner as well as myself.

did you drive it in winters or did the previous owner that you know of do that?

From my understanding the previous owner had an SUV and as such drove that in the winter. Being that Chicago had an extremely mild winter I did drive it. It saw snow only twice and performed exceptionally even with the stock all season tires. I say including several SUVs and AWD BMW's and Audi's I've had, this is the best car I've driven in snow, albeit only twice.

The car is in impeccable shape and I'd put it up against any other R32 for sale!

Nash - That is one CLEAN looking Passat, nice work! Abe is correct though and I did buy another car and am running out of places to store and money to pay for them so this one needs to go for green at this point.

I have a deposit on the R32 and the deal should be finished up on Tuesday. I'll post an update then as to whether it's sold or still available for sale!

W8 if you're asking if it's a manual transmission; 2008 R32s only came in DSG auto/manual/paddle shifter transmissions.
