Put together a pack for 3.5 days and hit the trail. Hike for 12 hours a day not including breaks. The weight will come off.

Well you could easily cut 5lbs of water weight in that time. Maybe if you gave us some more details we could give better suggestions.

I lose 5 lbs by sleeping overnight.
really, anything that makes you poop a lot and you could lose 5lbs in a day or two
