Guys bear with me, had a long day, Bought new wheels today and little did I know that these cars do not take lug nuts, (came from JDM Scene) but yeah learned the hard way that it was lug bolts. I know that I need tapered lug bolts. But the questions that I'm just getting to now is which size do I get? did some researching for quite a long time and I need to get to sleep for work tomorrow and still did not find my answer.

There is a link that I'm looking at, and there are so much sizes and I dont want to buy the wrong one.

    http://www.motorsport-tech.com/hardware/lugbolts_tuner

also is that a good brand to buy?

    Tuner lugs suck.
But, the size you want is:
    14mm x 1.5, 28mm Shank.

28mm is the length of OEM wheel lug bolts. If you're looking to use spacers on the new wheels, then add the spacer size to the bolt length to see what length you need.

    Thanks Clyde. I appreciate

And which lug bolts do you recommend. And no I'm not going to be running spacers. Just a direct bolt on. Does the size of the rim matter when purchasing these?

    Wheel size doesn't matter.
Generally 'tuner' lugs are used on aftermarket wheels that have lug holes too small for VWs standard 17mm hex head lug bolt.

I personally won't ever go near any wheel that requires the use of tuner lugs again.

Ha. You could call it that.
Was almost worth it for wheels no one else had in that particular size. Still, scary ****, and I cringe just seeing them on cars now.

Yeah they suck. If I get a car with them in the shop, I make the owner sign something saying we ain't responsible for **** if something breaks at any point. They can either sign it, leave, or let us put the OE wheels and bolts back on.

I bought some Gorilla Lugs from Discount Tire for my MRRs. They weren't too expensive and are locking.

I've run those before. Be very careful with the lock key. They easily crack open and can bend the lugnuts if you aren't carefully using the breaker bar or impact.

Other than that they aren't bad.

BlackForestIndustries is where I always go for my lug bolts.
Their turnaround has always been within the week, and the prices on them are less than most.

To the poster that went with gorilla lugs

I went to American Tire/ Discount Tire yesterday and bought a set for $50.00 of Gorilla Lug Bolts also they carried the Hub Rings I was looking for and it was near my work and so it was a win win situation for me and after work I went home and installed the wheels myself. I like the lug bolts, didnt have anything wrong with them as well as the key adapter.

For those Tuner Lug Bolts, I am assuming some had bad experiences?

for my Si, I put Muteki Lug Nuts on my aftermarket wheels and I was not happy with them because I took them off only 3 times to adjust my coilovers each month and by the 3rd or 4th time (forgot) the key that you put on the bar started to melt/get deformed . was really unhappy, good think there was still enough life in that key for me to just be able to take all of lug nuts off.
