Thread: Spacer Question

  1. 07-18-2012 01:06 PM #1
Sup guys, I have a quick question on what spacers I am supposed to be getting. I just didn't realize there were so many different styles and ****.
I am currently running some Merc Monoblock reps, and I dont know if I am supposed to by some VW/Audi spacers or Mercedes spacers?

these are the ones I had in mind, and they will be for the rears only.
    Thanks in advance!

    More info needed.

What car are these going on? If you already run these wheels on your car, presumably they are hubcentric (or have centering rings in them) that match the hub on your car. If not, you will need them to prevent wobbles, even more so if adding spacers.

The item you linked says they are only to be used with oem wheels or wheels with ball seat bolts. Do your reps use ball seat bolts? If not, you'll have to order the spacers and bolts separately instead of one of those kits.

Is 8mm the size you are looking for? That's a tricky dimension. I'd recommend going either up or down a size due to the fact that those won't have a flange to center the spacer inside the wheel and, they are just thick enough that the lip on the hub won't center the wheel either.
