Are there any differences in the engine wiring harnesses for the CIS-E in an 88 GTI 16V and the 87-88 Scirocco? I do realize the intakes are on opposite sides so I would think the length of those wires will be longer on the GTI harness. Any help is appreciated as I need to gather pieces and parts for my Rabbit swap.

all the power wires are yellow instead of black.

    http://www.gti16v.com/wdiagrms.htm#wdiagrms

    has 1988 16v diagrams

they are nearly the same, the switched wires are yellow and yes the lengths are different.
