Audi A4 Avant v6 vs. VW B6 Passat 2.0T

I am looking at both of these cars. The passat is $13k and has 38k mi on it and the a4 is 48k and has 80k mi. My question is in regard to maintenance...

Which would yall choose and why?

Which car is more reliable?

All help is appreciated. I am in a rush to get info as I must purchase a car by the end of the week.

Since the A4 has 80k miles its due for a TB change and thats going to cost $1500+ right off the bat.

You would have more fun driving the A4 over the Passatt since You are moving from a VR6.
The 2.0T unless its had some serious wor done is going to seem like 2.SLOW.

Cost of maintenace is high on the Audi.
