I just bought this guitar. It is about 5 years old and I payed 220 for it witht the hardcase..But I was expecting it to be heavier since it is mahogany and larger. So far I think it's great except for alil fret buzz and I need to throw some new strings on it

I've owned one for many years now. I still think the quality of the guitar belies the price, very impressed with how its held up over the years, as opposed to my old Ibanez RG250DX which started falling apart. Currently running D'Addario EXL116 11-52s on it, they're great for the C standard tuning I run on the guitar (I have a Strat that I keep at standard tuning).

If you pull out the coil tap knob some of the buzz goes away and you get a twangy Strat-like sound.

Pic of it next to my old James Trussart Steel DeVille which I sold.

    Now go get your shinebox
