FS: 2007 GLI 6MT Tornado Red NEEDS ENGINE ($4500) obo

Posting this for a friend. He is trying to sell a MKV (07) GLI. He said the dealership told him that it "needs a new engine." I'm trying to get a hold of him to figure out why exactly it needs an engine. So, with it being a MKV in need of an engine, he would be happy to get $4500 for it. It's tornado red, manual tranny, and in really good shape. 100% stock. Let me know if anyone is interested, or if you know of someone who might be.

Sorry about the delays. My friend keeps going back and forth on whether he wants to sell the car or rebuild the engine. I think he has finally decided to sell it. It has 76xxx miles on it, completely stock. He was told by a dealer that it had a failed rocker arm, and metal bits throughout the engine. I personally have not seen the car since he had these issues, so I can't verify exactly what's wrong with it. By the sound of things, I'm guessing it will need a new engine. Otherwise, the car is in great shape, with only a few minor nicks on the body. Clean interior. He is trying to get $4500 for it.
