The Scirocco forum has one, and seems to help people out pretty well, so I figure why not us?

It's simple. If you have some things you don't need for a Fox, post them here! Keep in mind, the keyword is "Free".

I have a grill with a small portion of the grill missing, about 2 inches worth.
I also have a shift knob, in pretty chewed up condition.
It's all free, and I have great shipping rates on UPS through work.
    Will post pics tonight.

I have a pair of stock front seats from an 88 Fox GL. They're not perfect, but they're definitely not bad at all and very usable.

I also have a stock Fox steering wheel.

I won't ship any of this, but it's free to whoever wants to pick it up.

I just picked up at foot of 38mm fuel hose. It's for connecting the tank and fill line. When I'm done I'll have 6" left - hopefully... I'll give it away and shipping from my work will be cheaper than buying a new section like I just had to.

Currently emptying out a couple garages and a house, then moving to a new location… bear with me in regards to shipping parts out. I got your PM’s and will sort through it all when I unpack

    Awesome…
fuel accumulator and associated lines from a digi fox, no leaks
    Partial digi wiring harness
1.8l short block 130k no oil pump, pan or accessories
    Fox II glove box door
Digi fuel rail, injectors, FPR, wiring, 3k on seals
    (2) Digi ecu (Thanks Mark, paying it forward)
Fox front bumper cover with sides shortened in fair shape: this is for shortened bumper brackets (not included)
    Cold start injector
    Cis-e air regulator

**Please request if in need of parts, not in need of parts to hoard… would like to see these go to keeping a fox on the road**

Will ship at your expense, pick up available.
Nice to see people willing to help out… rare on some parts of the board now in days… too much bs.

Awesome thread and great gestures, folks

    Here is a little contribution:

    - Set of front brake pads. New not used w/ some surface rust here and there. Brand unknown

    - Cluster circuit board. Worked when pulled, but can't guarantee anything

    - Cluster clear plastic face (non-tach). Bit of damage, but no cracks where it matters

I can ship at your expense (I'm in Canada so shipping the brake pads to the US might not be worth it).

Like oRANGEJULIUS' said above, these are offered to someone in need to keep their Fox on the road, not hoard

I gotta ask, does anyone have a charcoal canister they do not need? The tube coming out of the top left of mine is crimped in and I believe it is what's making me Fail the emissions pressure test.

    Great thread idea.

Is that from a tach cluster?

If so I have one with a burnt board, we could combine to make a working tach cluster, sell said cluster, and I will split profit with you?

I believe it was jboogie that compared the tach vs clock circuit boards and found that the only difference is the clock one is missing the physical terminals for the lcd clock. the traces are there, but there's no pins.

other than that, they seem to be interchangeable?

The circuit board is from a non-tach cluster. If you'd like to try it out and see if it can be made to work, I'd be up for it

alain, is the cluster circuit For a tach cluster the same as one for the clock cluster? If not, is yours for a tach cluster? If it is, I want it, please. My zip is 22802. Will be happy to relieve you of it! Mine has 2 areas where the circuits have lifted from the backing.

To those of you who asked about parts, PM's received.... I am not ignoring you; I need to take a trip up to my other garage to gather parts, take pictures (to insure you want the items) pack, and figure out shipping. I should be able to do this sat or sun.
Items tentatively donated to foxers in need:
    Digi harness
    1 computer
    Injectors / fuel rail
    Accumulator / lines
    Glove box door

Which bushing? I have one of the smaller of the two upper bushings in quite decent shape that could be donated.

Finally got around to organizing my basement/parts.

This is what I have so far - more to come:

    GTI center pad:

    4 speed clutch release arm:

Seat rail covers from a '93:

AC Controls Face Plate - acquired a 2nd one - all buttons and knobs are gone:

Sabo Valve Cover Gasket - I have two of these I don't need.

Should this thread be in the classifieds section? Maybe a moderator can move it?

yeah, but wouldn't you look for parts you need in classifieds?

I appreciate the whole idea, don't get me wrong. It just doesn't seem like much is moving...even for free. The search function wouldn't be of much use - considering I'd look in the parts section myself. I dunno. I'll keep adding stuff and it's great to see what people have to offer so far - just seems counterintuitive if you ask me.

I still have the front seats, plus some rear (one set for 2-door, one bottom for wagon.) Some or all of that might go in the trash when I move in the spring. Also just realized I have two full sets of rear/side glass for wagon. So, pretty sure I can spare a set

I have a pair of 91-93 rear taillights. They have a lot of spider cracks and take in water, but nothing is broken and they will pass inspection. In other words, they're good if your taillights are busted and you can't afford to replace them.

I'd rather not ship these, but can try to if you're really in need and can cover shipping costs.

Also, the stuff I listed earlier in this thread is all still available.
