    SOLD

    I have for sale a 2001 Golf GTI 1.8T 5spd. The car is in great shape all around and pulls really well, clutch is in amazing shape as well. Has Sunroof and all power options. Rare color for GTI.

    Recently replaced:
    New Battery w/ Warrenty
    Drivers window switches
    Thermostat and new coolant
    Serp. Belt
    Tie Rods upfront (Inner on right & Outer on both)
    Alignment
    New Windshield
    Exhaust work

    The Good:
    Lots replaced
    Runs and drives very well, pulls very hard
    Glovebox works
    All electronics work
    No rips/tears in interior
    needs nothing for safty/etest

    The Bad:
    Higher KM
    Slight bubbling at bottom of 2 front fenders
    Spiderwebbing on rear bumper
    Hood front was repainted due to stonechips and not a perfect match
    Front lip broke (GF pulled up too far into a parking stop ) <-- Will try and find new one for potential buyer

    The car has 4 good tires on TSW 18" Wheels, and is lowered on FK Springs. Also has a K&N air filter installed. The timing belt was done at 198xxxkms. Everything works on the car and it is ready for a safty and etest, but I have run out of time and must sell, need money for fall semester of school! Asking $3500 OBO

    Also have painted eyelids if buyer wants them.

    is a very cool color --- i just painted my old golf this color and stuck some fancy wheels on it and it looks like this...

    lots of potential for this car with the somewhat rare canadian combo of color and 1.8t engine... (mine is a rare-er 4-door vr6 version)

    Any chance of being able to safety and e-test at around $3000? We're in Ottawa so I'd just need to be able to make sure that I could drive it back from Kitchener. LMK

    I just started school again full time and have no time to do anything with the car, thats why the price is only $3000 OBO! Car will come as-is, although it truly won't need much or even anything!
