Great episode/ show format, looking forward to the rest of the series.

Less commercialized than Leno's Garage has become.

Looking forward to Conan's Ford Escort version of the show with Andy Richter in the trunk

Alec Baldwin was the best so far, IMO. Larry David is was great as well. He kind of reminded me of Howard Stern...

It's great to see a candid Larry David.. because you realize Curb your Enthusiasm is probably a 100% accurate reprersentation of his life

While i do love Larry & Curb...I just read Susie Essman's book and she says Larry is nothing in real life like he is on the show, and she's know him 20+ yrs.

I'm a big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, but this ep of CICGC didn't do much for me.

So far the Alec Baldwin ep has been the best IMO.

What color code is that? I want to buy an old VW and paint it that color.

i really enjoyed that episode, and actually wished it was longer.

i did enjoy mystery science theater when i was younger, and i'm sure i would enjoy it more now that i'm older, so it was great to see the mind behind it.

also, that ghia was fantastic, and i bet it's a riot with the 912 motor and suspension.

Other than the merc notice how all the cars have been blue? I believe it's Seinfeld's favorite color.

Only the early Beetle and the Karmann Ghia have been his (the cars from Columbus 81 productions). The Ghia with 912 parts is a project I'd love to do myself, actually.

Check the credits - they list the dealerships he borrows the cars from.

Here's an article where he mentions that 3 of the cars are his own...not sure where I got the idea about the muscle car.

i agree, i think they should package the "extra parts" into the whole episdoe rather than having to click on each 30 second to 1 min. clip.

he was on letterman the other week talking about the show, and hinting that dave would be targeted for the next "season". sounds like they haven't taped any more as of yet, but he isn't done with the show.
