Thread: VW MK4/MK5/MK6 Coolant Tank Presented by Bwperformance.com

    Roll in with style with this custom aluminum coolant tank! Comes with
    built-in pressure cap and is ready to be installed. This is a direct fit
    and replaces the OEM round tank.

    Fits MK4, MK5, and MK6 body style.
    Optional polished cap or black anodize finish.
    Install is about 1/2hr or less.
    Does not have a provision for a OEM coolant level sensor.
    Typically 3-5 days for fabrication

    Why is that being posted in the Beetle forum if it is for the VW MK4/MK5/MK6 ? And second, what is wrong with the round one that comes in the car? At least you can see through to quickly check the level...

    No problem, plus it is kind of a have to have kind of thing. Does it offer any advantage or performance increase? No, but is it cooler looking than the stock one? Definitely! I think it just to make your engine bay look better
