...i pretty much only like old VW's, MK1, MK2, Corrado and Scirocco... well i already have 1 Corrado besides this one that i have been working on a complete strip down rebuild. this green rado has been taking parts from the red one so it's time to go...
i got the car as a shell then got a motor and harness from a late 95 Passat and swapped it in. the car currently has an oil light on but will go out at idle once at operating temp. i think it's due to the non OEM filter on it. i'll throw one in with the car. i haven't been driving it other than to a GTG on sundays which is only a few short miles into the city. car runs great though.
i traded a MK2 Jetta with all GLI parts to get this, i regret doing it so i would like a real GTI or GLI to replace this... basically prefer 16v, i have an entire Autotech stroker motor sitting around collecting dust haha but not stupid picky...
Any interest in my MK2 1991 GTI 16V, its a daily driver with 161,000 miles. Its all original, except for neuspeed cams, chip, and mk3 disc brakes at the rear with drilled rotors all around. Paint is worn, one fender has a little rust and it burns oil. Like I said its a daily driver not a show car but the RECARO interior is complete with redline dash and working MFA, the converted R-134a AC works.
