Thread: 9.552 @ 150.9 i got both my '50s and almost didnt stop!

and almost didnt stop. unbeknownst to me, on this last pass of the day (for obvious reasons LOL) the staging brake decided to puke all over. but i didnt know it until the pass was made and it was time to stop. and i got all of this fountain show on vid as i use a gopro to specifically watch the shifting action. the brakes felt a little bit mushy after the burnout, and the staging brake didnt feel as tight either.

the day was great, made 3 full passes in a row, all shifted great, each one progressively quicker than the previous by .13 sec each. picked up 37 mph on the back half of the first pass even.

i am working on processing all the videos, and Jon is going to do some intro work i think. so stay tuned for those.

but boy MF HOWDY, what a world of difference it makes actually being able to shift easily and cleanly!!!!

my tuner told me once i run a 9.5x he will give me >800 at the wheel.... well i did it!

here is the air info for each run:

    Congrats bud!!!

Aaron, was curious as to how much of a a difference would being higher than sea level make? I know 183 ft isn't too high up but it has to make some kind of difference.

Can't wait to see what the car does > 800whp... Gonna be hurtin some egos lolz.

Local honda dude on same turbo as yours is making 900+whp on that thing...

done deal. already bought a new staging brake, a CNC one this time. talked to Jamar about this one and they want to see it to fix it.

and i will be running Sunday at the Bug-In, trying some more. i am just going to reconnect the brake lines under the car to bypass the staging brake.
