I think you'd be nuts to swap out those sweet blue tails. HOWEVER, dual rounds on the front would complete your 90s theme IMHO (but I may be biased) Added bonus...better beam in those hellas

bottom line, your MK3 is as close to perfectly themed and styled as it gets.

what's this biz 'bout dual round tails?
yeah man i agree as well.

i like midwings but im like how ramons looks as is. Abt dualrounds will be dope

i have a set that i most likly wont be using if anyone is interested.

I rewired the whole engine. had a custom tune put in it. Changes out the 16v trans for a MK4 5 speed trans and added a stage 3+ unsprung clutch. Got rid of the porsche wheels for some 17" schmidt racelights... Um, a lot of stuff has been done. But, the cars going to be up for sale as he lost his desire for VWs and has a AE86 now.

very very nice! now ya just need a headliner and abc pillars black to match!
i like how ya went the extra mile. i was actually gonna do the opposite and redo the front seat blue centers to match my wolfsburg trim (my fav mkiii oem interior seat pattern) but thought it'd be too much of a pain in the a$$. i even got rid of the little bit of extra wolfsburg cloth i had around. and then of course i just had my driver recaro right side bolster frame crack inside last week and discovered they are suuuper easy to take apart (literally 10 minutes to take the entire top of the seat apart!!!) and fixed it with some aluminum strap fabrication at my shop. the center framework is all metal but the shoulder and side bolster frame is only freaking plastic!?--very surprised but happy it is all fixed and stronger now than before.

my car is nowhere near as pretty as any of these cars...nyc is not nice to car bodies and nobody seems to know how to parallel park here..its actually pathetic. but my car is heavily performance modified despite the mileage. i will try to make some mkiii get together or big events in the coming months. thanks for sharing mkiii pics everyone! keep the mkiii's alive.

    take the road less travelled...
