Where can I find some help for a Carter YF carburetor?

Hi,

As the title says, I'm looking for some help for a Carter YF carb for a 1951 International Harvester with the 220 CI engine. Are there any message boards I should check out?

Here are the details in case anyone out here ca help out.

The engine seems to idle well enough (I don't have a tachometer so I don't know what the idle speed is).

The engine stalls/nearly stalls when I hit the throttle quickly. The accelerator pump seems to be working properly (I can see a stream of fuel spray from the accelerator nozzle).

What else could cause this problem? Is there an idle speed adjustment on this carb/engine setup?

find a local garage and get some old dude to look it over. Maybe the carb is gettin old and needs a rebuild.
