My tech says urethane bushings will squeak. Convinced me to go with good rubber.

So for the past couple weeks I've had this squeaking in the front when reversing and slowly moving forward... happens when going over bumps.
Brought it into a shop over the weekend and they said it was the front control arm bushings. They loosened the bolt, greased it up, tightened it back down.
Now my MKV was lowered on coilovers about a month ago, has about 1k miles on the coilovers. At first I had them spun all the way down (with everything in)... didn't make any noise then. Since then I've adjusted so I wasn't so low... that's when the squeaking started.
Anyone ever experience this? Only way to fix = replace bushings?

when i had my old vr6 slammed I experienced some bad squeaking after I hit the control arm on a bump. I didnt realize it but the control arm bent right where it is connected to the sub frame and was squeaking every time it moved. All I had to do was hammer out the dent and it went away. I hope yours is as simple, meanwhile im onto a new mk4 with new suspension issuesGood luck!
