    No rot. No major rust. Second owner. Was restored in late '90s. Floors are solid. Engine is a 1.6L TD out of an '82 Quantum. 4spd manual. Runs fine, was my daily. Just bought a GTI and as much as I'd love to, I can't afford to keep both .

    Dang that's clean, dude. I'd have left out the GTI and dropped that money on the Dasher. Good luck with the sale, if I were in the market we'd be talking.

    Don't remind me . The GTI was unmolested with very low miles and I just couldn't turn it down!

    What's the thing in the hood corner? I thought it was just a pair of gloves, but it's in all the pictures?

    There was a hood scoop put on it before I bought it. It's directly hooked up to the air box (pre-air filter) so it's fully functional.

    Also adding to the thread that there are brand new tires (that fit - ones in pictures were way too big) that were put on about a month ago.
