Im doind AEB swap to my a2 jetta and friend of mine asked what motor moutns im going to use because he thinks its not possible to put longitudal block to a2 chassis using vw:s own mounts.

Is that true? Because i took my crank and new shiny h-profile rods to be mated in machine shop and now if i cant use that block its big waste of money!! So can i use that block and for example motor mounts from KR or some other engine?

All the mk2 mounts will work or you can switch subframes and run mk3 stuff.

Thank You very much! I thought it is possible because no-one in here havent posted that they dont fit.

What would be the best mounts for daily driver with 200-250hp?
