    don't really know where to post this
    ive been trying to fabricate spikes with 26g sheet metal. i need them to have a 1 1/2" base/diameter and about 2" long. i have been trying to make a spike for 4hours now and cant seem to get it. vie came close but its hard to round it into a cone. i tried looking in store for a spike so i wouldn't have to make them but i cant find one with the right size base or able to grind one down to the correct base. any help on how to make own or where i cant find one so i don

    don't know if this is what you needed, I once tried to DIY a dust deputy cyclone that is basically a larger cone and there was a program that calculates and prints the shapes for you. then pasted to the sheet metal and cut then roll it into exact shape. Tried that on paper and it works never find the metal to finish.

    for yours would be ...

    Diameter A = 1.5 inches
    diameter B = 0
    Hight = 2 inches from your spec then print ...

    program is called "Cone Layout"
