Yup! Had the lips spun, the feet formed, and centres lasercut at the same place. Bought the assembly hardware somwhere else. Designed the centre graphics and had them printed at a printshop that does other work for my day job. Painted the lips, applied the centre decals to the mesh centres, and assembled them all together in the back warehouse.

Europlates as well. Although not as involved, we still do the graphics ourselves along with the assembly.

We do everything in-house as much as possible. We try to stay away from as much off-the-shelf stuff as possible.

Thanks guys, we really do try to go above and beyond. Unfortunately we can't control everything, like people registering and then not showing up and leaving empty unclaimed parking spots.

Ha! I should put that kind of effort into the Mk1, and then, like Danny said on Sunday, I could line it up beside the rest of you guys at the show. And believe me, it would be an honour to do so, you guys represent the mk1's well in this neck of the woods.

Aww man, now I kinda wish I hadn't missed this show. Oh well, camping was fun! Looks like you guys had a great time! James, you put your car on the dyno didn't you? What's it got, a whole whopping 50HP?
    Doing it right is overrated.

Was too low for the dyno. Subframe bottomed out against the machine. Was a no go....

Slow day at work today and i'm bored so I went diving through some of my pic folders and found some oldies:

    Danny's 83 circa Vagkraft 08 iirc

Arbi's coupe when Sandor had it

    Steve's VR Golf

    Armenian Cruising

    Getting ready for Vagwood 2010

Vagwood 08 (3 days after I bought the cabby)

My son's stroller rocking a logo

My first spotting of the Rocco in all it's glory

    My two cars together

    Oldies of Danny's Rallye

Sigh... Anyone here have a set of the black hex head bolts that hold the A/C compressor to the bracket on the motor? Mine have fallen out... Again.... On the highway somewhere....

OR! Does anyone know of someone selling the 1.6 Diesel non-A/C bracket? That might be easier....

James I should have some bolts that will work. Do you know the size/length of the bolts? I've got a tonne of spare bolts kicking around. I can also check ETKA for the dimensions if you're not sure. Text me if you need me to bring you some bolts
