VW Action takes place on the 31 Aug-2nd Sept and is one of the best VW Shows in the calender, a laid back show with all sorts of action and of course the main event the Night Spectacular.
Where hoping to gather the fastest Dubs from all round Europe and this years Guest of Honour is Clyde Berg, who's coming over to race his old Race Bug that now resides in Holland, were looking for the fastest Dub in europe to go heads up with him!! "in your watercooled shopping trolley"
If you have a 12 second VW or quicker, your welcome to join in the Night Racing Action, You will recieve Free Entry into the Show and the Evening Session track will be Free, if you are coming via mainland Europe and ferry from France to England the ferry cost will be covered too by the organiser. (obviously you can fit as many people in the car for the ferry at no extra cost but they will have to pay to enter the show)

The Evening show comes with Prize money, over £1000 will be shared between the top 10 Racers last year the Fastest run was 9.76 and took home £500 for the trouble. Although don't expect it to be that easy this year as Russ Fellows will be back with his Beetle, after running 9.03 last weekend he's going back to the dyno to add some more power, also Michael Jenson from Holland is bringing his Mk2 R36T AWD that has ran low 9's, returning again Mario Thau with his Polo Vr6T as will Eric Anastasi from France with his upgraded R32T mk2 another 9 second car. along with all the best that the UK can offer and a few other well know cars from Europe that are TBC
The Show opens on the friday and there is RWYB on the saturday day (this will cost £25 for unlimited runs) until the night session begins. Action is the weekend before the FIA European Finals so the Sunday is a Pro Test Day, there will be all sorts of cars taking to the track from the ET classes, Pro Mod up to Top Fuel Dragsters and FC, if you want to make the most of your time over here you can take part, its an extra cost but you will be racing in FIA Track conditions (i.e you ain't gonna get any better traction!!). If your real a hardcore race fan, why not stay over for the week and enjoy the European Finals that begins on the Wednesday, (you can stay on site the whole time at no extra cost) If needed i can help arrange safe indoor storage local to the track.
