I own an 83 Rabbit GTI and on the bottom where the front lip goes on its dent to hell and back. It looked as if someone hit a deer and it crushed the whole bottom. When I put my new fender on it was pushed back and the front bottom of the fender was popping out a good 1-2 inches.

Now my question is if I can take the piece off and replace it or should I do some redneck body pulling?

If you can take the front bottom piece off where the aprons are; is it hard?

It's dark out so I can't get a picture for you guys right now but this is where it is damaged.
