tl;dr - Onkyo TX-SR313 and Pioneer SP-PK21BS a good combo?

long version -
Almost done renovating my basement and need some home theater advice. The main area is about 22' x 19' with low ceilings and carpeted floor. I've purchased a refurbed Optoma 1080 video projector already, and I have a Polk 10" powered subwoofer.

I'm looking at speakers and receivers now. A few posts have directed folks to accessories4less.com and I found the Onkyo TX-SR313 over there (not a networked one). Seems good for me. I just want a basic 5.1 system, Network connectivity seems unnecessary if I have a Roku/BRD player with apps). Is there any other reason I'd want that? Maybe just the smartphone remote control app? I also see it lacks the microphone calibration feature. For a casual listener, is there any big benefit of having that?

As for speakers, CNet reviewed the Energy Take Classic 5.1 and the Pioneer SP-PK21BS sets really well. I'm leaning toward the Pioneers and would get some little wall mounted shelves for the rears, and put the fronts on stands. Is there any reason to go with the Engery or Pioneer subwoofers, and get rid of my Polk? I'd rather just buy the speakers separately and use my subwoofer.

Does this seem like a good combo? Any reason not to get these? I'd consider myself a casual listener, and will be doing normal movie and music duty on it. No specific genres to consider.

Thanks!!!
