Who's going?
Who needs info?
Who has some info but would like more?
Who has no clue what I am talking about?

I have to say, this is so horribly promoted. Is it even happening?

This is what the turds posted on facebook.
Well... you wanted news.. so here we go.. The 11th Dubs Along the Rockies will be held Saturday, August 25th. The gates will open at noon for all show cars. The show will officially start at 2:00pm!! Yeah we are doing this a bit later in the day. Give everyone a little extra time to detail the cars.
We would also like to announce Hardey's Motorwerks as the title sponsor!
#8
It has not been cancelled.
I have to apologize for the lack in info and publicity for the event this year. We are working on the show its just that the details have been a little behind.
Vdub303 is right - It will be on Saturday, August 25th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The gates will open at 12 pm and the show will start at 2 pm.

Car is not really in any shape to show anyone but I am down to register just to be a part of it. Info?
#14
How about posting up the exact address of this Dick's sporting place? I know I can just go to the website.. but for us out of towners, we want the address etc. Also where is a good place to stay? We have been staying at the KOA the last 2 years and you need to reserve spots way ahead.

Here is a lot more info: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ow-Info-Thread
The address for DSGP is 6000 Victory Highway Commerce City, CO 80022.
As for staying up there idk. Im from the Colorado Springs so anything about Denver and the surrounding area is a grey area for me lol. Sorry. Maybe someone from the area will have more info.

I thought the show was better in Colorado Springs. Just to make the trip out there and be able to hang out in the Garden of the Gods was worth it to me.
Why can't there be a good venue in Colorado Springs?
#18
Out of towners you are pretty close to Denver or even the strip of hotels for the airport is not that far away. You could even look in the Broomfield area for cheap as well. Its pretty central to any of those spots.

Just a tip, on your site. When you click the register online it should take you to the store not to a picture of "register online". Would be helpful![]()

This is the kind of poor organization everyone is tired of. If you're going to post from an @DATR screen name, take the time to research the right answers to the questions asked. Posting "idk... lol" does nothing positive for you or the show.
We tried for many years to find a suitable venue in the Springs. Scott Napier had a great venue at the World Arena, but unfortunately, a few bad apples ruined the relationship between the Arena and DATR. We tried for several months in 2008 to repair the burnt bridges, but were ultimately told to take a hike. PPIR was a great venue too.... Wish I made that show
Hey buddy.... Yes.... Denver was always my goal, as it has more to offer as far as accommodations, venue possibilities and a larger local crowd to pull into the show. I cant tell you how many Denver guys I heard say... Drive all the way to COS? meh
When are you coming out to the East Coast for a show Robin?

organized or unorganized i'd still come
