    FS: 1.8T AEB Head

    For sale is a 1.8T AEB head out of a B5 Passat. The passat had a blown head gasket.

    The head is in good condition with minimal carbon build up on the bottom of the head and as well as the typical amount of carbon build up in the exhaust ports. The valves are not bent and the intake ports are clean. The top of the head is also in good condition, there is little to no oil residue near the lifters. The motor appears to be well kept.

    Price: $300 plus shipping

    Do you know if it was over heated? How are the cam journals ?

    I do not know if it over heated, the cam journals are pretty good. Much like the top of the head.
