    To give you some more details:

    I bought the car mid June 2012, the radio was manufactured in Apri 2012. I took it out mid July 2012.

    This 2012 Fender model has HD Radio, PHONE button in addition to 6 Disc CD Changer, etc, etc,

    I just picked up my 2009 CC sport. No idea what head unit I have though, and I'm new to VW too.

    Do all CC's have interchangeable head units?

    Yes, you can install this radio in your CC. You need an antenna adapter and a sirius antenna or extension cable (if you want sirius).

    IMHO I would snatch this up. I upgraded to the rcd-510 ae modle in my 09 cc and it's so easy to do. Pop the plastic off around the radio 4 screws and slides right out. You run that cable to the passenger side of the trunk then you need this part https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/7l6051551/ES416774/
