SOLD! to sponcar!
Hello all! well, it's certainly been a long time since I found myself on the tex. Haven't had my GTI in over a year and a half now, but I still have a bunch of BT/Internal parts that I was going to use on it so I figure I might as well unload these to someone who could use em!
So to jump right into it, I figured I'd link all the pics, then give the list of items included, details, and what items would still be needed to complete the kit!
Alright! Now, onto a list of items from all the pics in order from top to bottom:
-Stock AWP Intake manifold painted black (cosmetics only).
-Engine Mount.
-Timing Belt Kit.
-NewSouth Column Pod w/ Digital Boost Gauge.
-Bearings.
-More Bearings.
-Cylinder Head Bolts.
-Thermostat (o-ring is included, wasn't in the pic).
-4x Ignition Coils.
-Replacement Inside/Outside LED bulbs.
-Water Pump.
-4x AEB Pistons w/Rings and Pins.
-4x Brute Connection Rods.
-Modified Stock Intake Box for Turbo Kit.
-Intake Tubing from Box down to the Turbo.
-Misc Oil Catch Can.
-Oil Feed/Return Lines for Turbo.
-External Wastegate.
-Transmission Mount.
-Wire Harness.
-Coated Head Top (Cosmetic).
-Ignition Coil Overlay (Cosmetic).
-Headgasket Set.
-Piping for Oil Catch Can/Turbo Kit.
-BT Downpipe (more info below).
-Exhaust Manifold (more info below).
-T3/T4 50 Trim, .64 AR Housing (more info below, and my cat tried to photo bomb me on one of those! lol).
-Paperwork from Original Engine Build Order.
So to begin, every single part I've included here is new, as in it's never been installed on a car, or even really set foot outside of my garage in over 2 years lol.
Alright, so more info on everything! First off, the BT kit is a full VBanded kit from Pag Parts (Here's the link to the kit on their website: http://pagparts.com/product_info.php...roducts_id=583. The kit itself is a T3/T4 50 trim with a .64AR housing. I'd also like to point out that although the kit is externally gated, you can see that I had the downpipe modified before shipment to have the wastegate discharge back into the main pipe instead of releasing to atmosphere. Something I'd like to point out is the rust on the exhaust manifold. This sadly came about due to a huge mistake on my part by placing these parts in a storage area that had moisture trapped in it and terrible air circulation. Never the less, you can tell by the further photos that the manifold was never installed or used despite the rust that has accumulated on it.
Those are all the details I can think of off the top of my head. On the flip side, a few things that this kit does not include that you would absolutely need are:
-Fueling parts, including injectors and likely an upgraded fuel pump.
-Software, be it one of the major brands that do BT tuning or standalone if you're up to the challenge.
-An intercooler setup that retains the stock routing for piping. You can see in the picture noted on the PagParts website that the turbo does NOT face up towards the hood of the car. I am not sure if you would be able to reclock the housing and use over-the-top piping.
I'd like to point out that although I was well on my way towards obtaining all the parts for an engine rebuild, I am not 100% sure that everything included will be all the items necessary to complete it. I would suggest anticipating having to purchase misc parts to fully complete any build. Obviously all parts are sold as is, but I can guarantee you that the pictures above reflect the condition that everything is in. These pictures were taken on 7/25/2012.
On to the price! I'm asking for $1,800 for everything mentioned. At the moment I'm not really interested in parting the set out, but in the future if that changes I will be sure to make note of it here. I'm looking for someone local to the Los Angeles area who is interested in a pick up or meet up. Definitely not looking to ship all of this stuff due to the weight and size of all the misc parts. If you have any questions feel free to PM me on here, respond in this thread, or e-mail/text/call me at the number provided. Thanks for having a look! Have a good one!

ATM I'd like to keep them as part of everything just as an extra little mod for anyone who's planning on doing a serious tear down and rebuild/turbo upgrade. I'll let you know if that changes though!![]()
