Very true. I'd go so far as to say there was a spillover from the late 80s (think neon, etc.) until about 1991.

The 90s... September 10, 1991 (Nirvana releases the single "Smells Like Teen Spirit") - September 11, 2001

I never had any console game systems growing up, I was a PC gamer from the original CGA graphics until I moved out on my own at 18 and bought a PS2.

However, my neighbour had a SNES and I remember the night StarFox was released. I was AMAZED. Completely blew my mind. "How can game graphics EVER get better than this???"

    DO A BARREL ROLL!

    Oh and Baywatch boners.

I wanted to be on that show soooo bad. I'd watch the reruns in high school in the mornings when they played them on the Nick Games and Sports Channel (Nick GAS ). Nick Arcade, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts...played them all and it was glorious. Loved that channel.

Can't find a pic but does anyone remember bongo bats? The HUGE hollow, clear plastic wiffle ball bats that would hit the ball a ton.
