I drove the car for a couple of weeks with the sunroof out. Big, big buffeting occurs. It's that dandy little pop up deflector that makes the difference. Some say the Mk III deflector works even better.

I've noticed that when driving the Corrado with the sunroof and both windows open, even at higher speeds, there isn't much cabin wind buffeting. Most other cars seem to have much more buffeting so that the windows need to be up from the wind noise and turbulence. I get on the I5 with both windows and the sunroof open and there is only a slight breeze in the car and not much wind noise. Is this because of the low drag coefficient or some other design quality? I can't imagine its on purpose, but it sure is nice.
