There have been issues with the HPFP. Have VW check that.
I would hope that it isn't the problem - there is more discussion at tdiclub.com

I have been having issues with my car as the title states, now on to the symptoms
-jerking motion (like slipping clutch and grabs and releases a couple times a second)
-jumping tach (this only happens about 10% of the time)
conditions to witch it occurs
-low rpm (like 1400-1600)
-light cruising
-has happened on 4th ans 5th gear
I have spoken to the local dealer about this, but since neither them nor I can reproduce it then they can't really do much to help me
I have a Vag-com but there are no codes
year- 2012
make- VW
model- Golf
engine- CR TDI
transmission- 6 speed manual

it's not a HPFP issue. it's "normal" studdering. My TDI used to do it too but now with more mileage it does it less often.

At first I thought maybe you had the DSG, which I was gonna say is very normal for the dsg.
