So i changed my clutch the other day.......

Removing the flywheel, 6 triple square bolts came out.. four remained, stripped. How did I get them out? I used an arc welder, welded bolts to the stripped ones to turn them out. Did not remove ground terminal from battery. Stupid I know because chances are that might have caused my issue.

What I know now; I relpaced the cam, crank, and speed sensor. Swapped coilpack with a known good one. Checked the harness for breaks in the wires. Understanding how a coilpack works, this gets strange, cylinders 2 4 6 have a weak spark or none at all when I hold the plug to the head and 1 3 5 have a strong spark. What may have been shorted that could have caused this? I hear mentions of ICM and ECU, i'm not familiar of the ICMs location or function because it seems if 1 gets a strong spark, how does 6 get a weak spark, they share a bank in the coilpack.

Ive aleady swapped spark plugs and wires to see if the problem would travel, nothing.

So three coincidental bad injectors at cylinders 2 4 6 would cause the ICM to reduce the spark to those cylinders? I also don't think it has the ability to reduce spark to (for example) cylinder 6 when 1 shares that bank. The output is the same to both 1 and 6. They cannot be individually adjusted per that cylinders fuel output.

Thank you for the ICM clarification. So it's part of the coil pack assembly, well that's been replaced with no change in performance. Still crap.

Yup. If the icm is good then that will be my next thing to check

    Check the injectors.

No codes. At this point I'm thinking fried ecu or maybe the crank or cam sensors are acting up... Aren't they sensing a magnet attached to the cam gear and crank ?

crank looks for a gap (missing teeth on the gear it reads), You most likely cooked your ecu.

Check the resistances on your injectors.
    Forced convection.... Now we grillin.
Some times she goes, some times she doesn't.... Way of the road

Am I checking resistance across the injector side or the harness side? Oem injectors are supposed to read 13-19 ohms. I'll report the findings soon. Also got my hands on a stock ecu.

You wanna take a meter and test both pins on the injector. So have the + from the meter to one pin and have - from to the meter to the other pin

    19 ohms across the board.

Now check for injector pluse. Disconnect the coil pack while your doing it. Take a noid light or test light and look for pluse. If you are using a test light have the ground and tester in the pins inside the plug and crank the car.
