Ok so i took the car off the road to replace my exhaust and change my waterpump/crackpipe/thermostat/coolant hoses ....the cooling fans rans fine before & never gave me any issues the coolant temp gauge always stayed right at midpoint , now they wont turn on until the car gets to around 230 on the gauge ..... or not at all

i now have the following BRAND NEW items and the fans still dont work ....
    -radiator
    -fans
    -71 degree tstat
    -sensor in the radiator
-all 3 sensors in the tstat housing
    -fan control module
    -coolant ball and cap
    -coolant lines
    -crackpipe
    -waterpump

can anyone thro any ideas in here that would help ive checked the all the fuses in the car , the only thing left it could be is the wiring . anyone know of any diagrams for hardwiring the fans to a toggle switch or even hardwiring them so they come on as soon as the car starts ??

Bump. Did u get any info or anyone got Ideas? Is wiring the fan power line to a fuse such as the radio or fuel pump a bad idea? Just a thought.

if everything worked good beforehand, id look at one of the new parts being faulty..possibly the thermostat?

So fans dont work period? or only work on one speed?

Car have AC or have you done any ac work....

You need to test the wiring at the plug , at the Fan switch on the radiator. Check my past thread on my AC problems bud i have alot of videos i made on the varios areas to test. Pretty much your standard procedure for any fan problems.

not being a jerk, but kinda sounds like maybe the thermostat may be in backwards...

u ever tried to put a vr thermostat in ..... its literally impossible to do backwards the housing itself is very deep and the cover is just high enough for the tstat to clear .... the lip inside the housing will only allow it to go in one way .....

the ac was deleted and a shorter belt from MJM was used because the owner before me removed the ac lines. the fans only kicked in when the car hit around 230 degrees .... i said fvck the oem fans and wired in 2x10" electric slim fans to a switch and its been fine ever since holds solid just below midway on the temp gauge .
