Nice - I installed the auto lights kit - works great! I think it's a great investment for 35 bucks (since I had the euro auto switch already)!

when i take it out i will show pics of the difference... one slides in the stock tig one if held in with a pin....

found a good deal on front tiguan oem mats too

i also got my sunroof tinted with 15% CTX tint.. a lot better
I might be interested in the pedals as well. I did read on here about the gti gas pedal not fitting properly (as DT EXP mentioned).

What did you have to do to connect the footwell lights? Is the car prewired? I have the vagcom cable so I wouldn't need to rewire anything... What about the door warning lights?

    Thanks!

the problem i had was i was cheap and didnt get the whole pedal assbly...

this will not work in a 2012 tiguan... the brake pedal part works fine but thats it.. i have a gti one on the way..

the lights need to be turned on via coding... my friend didnt have his cable with him this weekend so i need to wait to see if i wired it correctly.. but you do need to wire it in yes...

just pissed i have to wait for my mirrors and the seat trays

Good luck with the under seat trays. The airbag sensor module is a problem. You'll love the mirrors, just give it a week for your eyes to adjust.

Love those! Been thinking about ordering one myself. Was it easy to take off the OE one? Any tips/suggestions to share?

just tilt it so you can pry it open.. i used a flat head. just be careful not to scratch anything...

i started on the top with the flat head til it released.. then i used my hands to work around the rest of the mirror to release it

i would be careful so you dont pull on the wires connected... im not sure if it matters if you put them back on the same way so i would make sure you dont get them mix up..

but just connect the wires on the new mirror and snap it back in..

very simple and easy install.. took me maybe 5 min...

Nice - my tig had the folding mirrors - I just upgraded all the switches w the chrome ones. I think you need the actual folding mirror and control module for it.

Nothing to code when you don't have the motors installed. You'll need new mirrors with motors then code them. Not sure if new modules needed in VW but in A4's it was just the mirrors, switch and some coding.

We gonna have to fix that

Use your existing caps, then sell your mirrors to recoup some of the cost.
BTW: the guy takes offers too, just shoot him an email.
