Identify this car(?) - Brazil edition

Was being driven to our new base last week and stopped beside this on the road. Not the best of pictures I'm afraid as I only had my BB to hand but any ideas? Looked home-made or wagon based but raised and hacked about.

Ford F series based, they made a few odd configurations over the years, there's aftermarket companies there that to this day turn F-250's into four door sedans.

That looks like body filler in the front, looks like they fabricated the car to look like something else. I could be wrong.

I think it's some older SUV with the roof cut off.

The more I look at it the more I think its the top half of a car placed on the lower half of another.

im actually thinking thats a truck based car. the front is a ford pick up with a matching rear in a sedan style

That looks to be the closest match so far. Didn't manage to get a good picture of the lights as something was blocking my view but they were much bigger than in the picture so I guess that might explain all the filler.
